The CL-MAG™ is externally constructed of durable aircraft quality aluminum, while internally comprised of lightweight polymers. The surface lubricity and toughness is achieved with a hard coat type III mil spec anodized finish. These materials allow the CL-MAG™ to be light and operate in adverse environmental conditions without deterioration or coating of critical components.

The SAW-MAG™ is a hybrid design externally constructed of thick-walled long glass polymer and steel. This allows the magazine to have the durability to survive real world conditions. The hardened steel USGI tower allows it to fit into any weapon that accepts the 30 round standard magazine. All parts are from production tooling for precision and economics.

Armatac Industries uses its own CNC machining centers to prove out production design and tolerances. The parts are then outsourced to production and finishing facilities. The individual parts use different manufacturing methods such as forging, injection molding, and stamping to get the overall lowest manufacturing cost but still retain the highest quality.
